Mihai Drăgănescu. Conştiinţa explicată ca „Deschidere interioară” şi lecţia sa panideică / Mihai Drăgănescu. Consciousness explained as “inner-opening” and its paideutic lesson
Abstract. The study presents the analysis of the concept of consciousness within the ontological-stuctural-phenomenological model of Mihai Drăgănescu: “consciousness as inner-opening”. This analysis opens the opportunity to situate his view of consciousness in relation to the perspectives of David Chalmers and John Searle, but also in relation to the “qualiaphile” direction in the study of consciousness, and, a sum of referential thinkers in Romanian philosophy. What is the implication of this model of consciousness for a future society of consciousness? There is a lesson of the generalized principle of orthophysics which the study especially emphasizes. An apparent fully material model of consciousness turns phenomenological and explores the informational-phenomenological deeper substrate that allows for a glimpse into the spiritual possibilities of mankind unveiled by the informational and structural-phenomenological understanding of depths. The deep underlying existence speaks of differentiation and wholeness, as well as of a nuanced anthropic “embrace” of the universe, of the support provided by the Universal Consciousness of Existence with scintillating paideutic importance, too.

Leibniz şi Kant în viziunea lui Désiré Nolen / Leibniz and Kant in the view of Désiré Nolen
Abstract. In his La critique de Kant et la métaphysique de Leibniz, Nolen presents part of Kant’s criticism of his famous predecessor. We propose in this paper to review the main contexts and to show the actuality of this text (first published in 1875, and reissued in 2006, Paris, L’Harmattan).

Democraţia deliberativă şi utilizarea energiei nucleare / Deliberative democracy and the use of nuclear energy
Abstract. Deliberative democracy, understood as the theory and practice of political action to exercise governance, has increasingly been invoked over the past decade as an effective way to engage the decision-making process of various parts of society, from formal government institutions to informal groups of society, also by taking into account the various trends and processes in the public sphere, from those whose vectors are non-governmental organizations to those initiated by the media in its various formats. The main virtue of deliberative democracy is that it ensures a coercive and non-bureaucratic communication between various parts of the public sphere that would not otherwise intersect. In this sense, deliberative democracy is seen as a flexible and favorable framework for expressing different or divergent interests, the stake of each part being to try to understand the one who shares a different perspective or a different conceptual scheme. Through deliberative democracy, society does not become a forum in which everything expresses its point of view, but a network or a deliberative system in which various opinions are interpreted and evaluated. Finally, through the extension and deepening practiced, the government itself becomes by its nature deliberative. My aim in this paper is to develop all these ideas about deliberative democracy and to apply them to the case of nucelar energy, firt of all, the use of it as the best solution to the problems regarding the global needs for energy and the risks of climate changes.

Modalităţi de gândire. Azi gândirea conceptual pură / Ways of thinking. Today, pure conceptual thinking
Abstract.
This text is the first in a series of works that will explore what might be called „the Conceptual versus the Systemic and the Fragmentary” as modes of thought, since they interact today in gnoseology. Currently, through their implementation in the ontic, they lead us to a „reality” that seems to bewilder us. In this first article, we will attempt to address „Pure Conceptual Thinking” because it presents an extremely important characteristic — among those that will be listed shortly — namely, „achieving a clear, unambiguous semantics of a discourse.” We must mention that there will be other variants of Conceptual Thinking, apart from the pure one, which, however, will no longer have this characteristic and which, for now, are not the focus of our concerns. In fact, this thinking, with the pure predicate, is a complex. It presents the following main characteristics:
1. A dialectic that highlights the dynamics of the complex;
2. An associated specific logic;
3. It presents a clear, unambiguous semantics of the discourse.
Among these, the most important, as we shall see, are 1. A dialectic that highlights the dynamics of the complex and 2. An associated specific logic. The third one is dependent of the first two. Finally, characteristic 2. depends on characteristic 1. Therefore, characteristic 1. becomes a „pilot” one, which will integrate the others.

Fenomen şi lucru în sine la Kant şi Cassier / Phenomenon and yhing-in-self in Kant and Cassier
Abstract. In this essay, we will analyze and compare the concepts of phenomenon and thing-in-itself in Immanuel Kant and Ernst Cassirer. We will explore the two philosophers’ understanding of the relationship between the phenomenon and the thing-in-itself and examine how these concepts contribute to the development of their theories of knowledge, language and culture. We will also try to illustrate the relevance of their ideas to contemporary issues in philosophy of mind and epistemology.

Perspective etice ale cercetării pe subiecţi umani / Etichal perspectives on human subject research
Abstract. Medical clinical research, otherwise defined as research on human subjects, represents the standardized method and unanimously accepted by the scientific community, as well as by civil society, as the only way that allows the approval of the use in medical practice of a new drug, as well as a new methods of investigation or treatment. In the first part, names and events that have marked the evolution of this field over time are reviewed, and in the second part bioethics’ responses to the dilemmas of contemporary medicine as they appear in the Nuremberg Code, the Declaration of Helsinki, the Belmont Report and, based on them, biomedical principle.
Mihai DRĂGĂNESCU
Filosofia / The Philosophy
Abstract. When Acad. Mihai Drăgănescu turned 75 in 2004, the Romanian Academy organized a celebratory event with guests from the country and abroad, collaborators of the Professor. In the same year, the book „Mihai Drăgănescu In Medias Res” was published by the Academy Publishing House, containing articles by those who spoke at the ceremony. The book was published in an extremely limited number of copies. Some of these can be found in the Library of the Academy. Mrs. Nora Rebreanu, the Professor’s wife, made available to RJIT the last typed article of the book belonging to the Celebrant himself. From this article, Mrs. Nora Rebreanu kindly agreed to publish a section called PHILOSOPHY in RJIT. Consequently, and because this issue of the Journal also begins with an article about Drăgănescu’s work, we offer you, in conclusion, that part of the mentioned article.
