Abstract. The following are some considerations regarding the age of the spirit in 21st-century culture. This spirit tends to encompass philosophy, science, art, and mytho-theology through inter, multi, and transdisciplinarity. An example of such an approach is the interweaving of philosophy and literature presented in the book The Membranes of Understanding.

Sisteme departe de echilibru – evoluţie şi ireversibilitate / Systems far from equilibrum – evolution and irrversibility
Abstract. In this paper my aim is to offer a philosophical reconstruction of the transition from the concept of deterministic system to that of systems far from equilibrium, simultaneously with the change of the framework of presuppositions specific to a deterministic metaphysics with that of a probabilistic metaphysics. The „naturalization” of the system concept has led scientists to be concerned with identifying and describing so- called natural systems. The deepening and expansion of research, first in physics, by moving from mechanics to thermodynamics, then by moving from the physical world to the living world and to society, brought into focus the concept of a self-regulating system, later on that of a system far from equilibrum. This is how we arrived at the analysis of irreversible, non-linear processes, characterized by bifurcations and restructuring. Contemporary science has assimilated this new conceptual scheme that provides good epistemological guidance in complexity research.

O ipoteză: azi trăim într-o plină nedeterminare haotică (Chaordică)? / A Hipotehesis: Today we live in a State of Full Chaotic Indeterminacy (Chaordic)?
Abstract. As the title of the work suggests, today we are living in a disconcerting indeterminacy in which, both at the individual and collective levels, we can no longer make plans beyond the short term, but not in the medium or long term. A natural question arises: How and why did we get here? To answer this question, it is necessary to consider two aspects. First, we should somehow describe, in order to understand the new reality in which we live, and only then do the same regarding how and why we got here over time, and finally correlate them. Both require modeling. Because only through these simplifying methods can we highlight the useful approximation of complex processes, while still being aware that such an approach may result in a loss of information regarding fine details or subtle variations of reality, regardless of how we define such reality. Given the above, our work will consist of two parts. In Part I, we will present, in a general manner, the modeling through which we could describe the apparent chaos we find ourselves in today. In Part II, we will apply this modeling to how human knowledge and action have evolved so far.

Marele Anonim şi metafora trans-semnificativă / The Great Anonymous and Trans-Significant Metaphor
Abstract. We study, as close as we can, Lucian Blaga’s manner to introduce (1934) the Great Anonymous: the metaphysical center of the Existence, the absolute metaphysical principle in its relation toward human knowledge. The Great Anonymous is imposing and is implementing a transcendent censorship to human knowledge. The positive effect of that transcendent censorship consists in the destiny of humans: they have to create (in science, in technology, in arts, in philosophy, etc.). A question immediately (1935) aroused. Does the Great Anonymous is God? In January 2013, Geo Săvulescu explicitly raised the theme of the relationships between the Great Anonymous and God (no identity subsists; they are different, but Blaga did not close the polemics). The understanding of this relation would be, Săvulescu’s thesis, a key to philosophical understanding, to Blaga’s philosophy, and it could extend to the whole Philosophy. However, to study the relation(s) between the Great Anonymous and God, we have, before, to know who or what the Great Anonymous is and means (i.e., how Blaga introduced the name and the reference). Surprisingly, we discovered and prove that the name encloses a metaphor of a special new kind (we call it a trans-significant metaphor). The trans-significant metaphor is a metaphor sitting between the revelatory metaphors and trans-significant myths (Blaga studied both three years later in his 1937 Geneza Metaforei şi Sensul Culturii – The Genesis of Metaphor and the Sens of Culture). Blaga (1937) defines a trans-signification as a frame or realm capable to receive significations despite the fact that the frame itself does not carry a signification. A trans-significant myth has only a trans-signification (a calix of significations), but itself -as a myth- does not carry a signification (the trans-significant myths are the greatest myths of Creation or/and of the Origin of the World; we are meeting them in each Culture of each People in the beginnings of their history). Blaga’s manner to introduce the Great Anonymous by a trans-significant metaphor (and not by a myth), differs from the modalities used in other philosophical systems (logical modality of inference from general to particular, abstraction, Plato – Ideas, Husserl – phenomenological reduction, Heidegger – the Dasein). Therefore, the trans-significant metaphor as a new kind of metaphor becomes a concept deserving a research for itself. The trans-significant metaphor has an epistemological function. It provides an instrument of creative thinking in the limits of the ontic-creative possibilities of the thing thought. As a concept, the issue of its relationships to transdisciplinary concepts arises.

Aristotelianismul, Darwinismul şi Holismul în gândirea lui Patric Geddes / Aristotialism, Darwinism and Holism Patrick Geddes’ Thoght
Abstract. This paper aims to give an account of Geddes’ intellectual and cultural history by revisiting the years of transdisciplinary studies in England and France, the years of botany teaching in Scotland, in order to investigate the way in which his thought has developed in contact with texts, encounters and experiences. It will highlight Geddes’ relation to history in his writings and practices, for it is Greek Antiquity, namely Aristotle, who provides him the roots of his ecological approach and holistic vision of all phenomena of life, as much as urban phenomenon. If Geddes is a pioneer at all, it is more in the constitution of a new science, human ecology. Through his interpretation of evolution applied to urban theory, Geddes unifies Nature and Civilization by dismissing a conception of nature as opposed and external to the city..

Creaţia, actul de creaţie şi viitorul muncii. Lucrătorul creativ “Superuman” versus lucrătorul condiţionat mecanic / Creation, the act of creation and the future of work. The “Superhuman” creative worker versus mechanical-conditioned worker
Abstract. Today creativity is becoming one of the most important skills of the workforce that collaborates with the super-intelligent machine. The World Economic Forum’s 2023 Future of Jobs report places creative thinking at the top of the ranking of the 5 most important skills sought by employers in the next five years (the others are: analytical thinking, curiosity, lifelong learning, resilience).
In the history of humanity, there has never been an era of creation. However, great cultural figures such as Berdyaev, Dostoyevsky or Nietzsche foresaw this era and provided us with great theoretical foundations for understanding creativity and creative act. One of these important theoretical sources is „The Meaning of the creative act” written by Nikolai Berdyaev, a century ago. Using the theory provided by Berdyaev we will seek to capture the complex dimension of the creative act, the conditions that allow the emergence of the creative act both at the level of the individual and at the level of the company, as well as the process of its materialization. We will also show the fundamental differences between the mechanical-conditioned worker and the creative worker. To support my theoretical argument and translate Berdyaev’s philosophical concepts into business language, especially for the field of Business Development, I used as case studies art, especially the art of Constantin Brancusi, and some aspects from Apple’s company history (due to the abundance of information available on the internet)..
